I started my yoga practice 16 years ago at the Croydon Buddhist centre with an inspirational Iyengar teacher called Vaccasin. With this foundation in the Iyengar tradition I moved on to gain my teaching qualification some 10 years ago with Ruth White. Since then I have continued to deepen and broaden my knowledge and have explored many different yoga traditions and styles. In recent years I have taught regular classes at many of the best gyms and health clubs in Croydon. For more information see: www.inspiralyogatherapy.co.uk
I practised the art of Hatha Yoga for over 20 years and then I gained my certification by the Iyengar Teachers Association of Great Britain to teach yoga in 1986. I have worked in Adult Education, teaching yoga to members of the public and I have trained numerous yoga teachers. I have also worked in health centres and hospitals and I have organised whole day yoga seminars. My teaching has included one-to-one instruction for those with specific needs.
I have been practising yoga for 18 years and have had the good fortune to work with many inspirational teachers during this time. I completed my teacher training with Ruth White who is the founder of Karuna (compassion) yoga. I teach in a number of health clubs and also one to one teaching.
I have been practicing yoga since 1997 and have been teaching since 2001. I am a qualified Iyengar teacher. I attended my first class at the centre in 1997 and it is a great privilege and joy to now be teaching here. As well as teaching here I also attend classes as a student - I enjoy the friendly and welcoming atmosphere of the centre
