Your Therapist: Marika Csaranko

Marika is in her final year of a four year degree course (BSC hons) at the Centre for Homeopathic Education. This is the largest Homeopathy college in the UK, providing a comprehensive study of both practical and classical Homeopathy. All her cases are regularly and fully reviewed by a highly experienced Homeopath (Dr Taryn Jacobs) who also teaches Anatomy and Physiology at her college.

Marika also has five years experience working within healthcare for the NHS and has gained a broad knowledge of conventional medicine, however, her passion lies in alternative medicine. Marika is also a qualified holistic massage therapist (ITEC DIP level 3). She has a diploma in Anatomy and Physiology and has a good understanding of mind related diseases.

Her aim is to help people on every level by providing a unique and holistic approach in the treatment of her patients. She aims for wellness both physically and emotionally as well as personal growth and happiness.

Marika has currently been treating patients at home over the last two years and has experience in treating a wide range of conditions including:

Children tend to respond well to homeopathic treatment and homeopathy can be used for common physical complaints such as re-ocurring ear infections, coughs, colds, teething problems and it can also treat wider symptoms such as: ADHD, slow development, behaviour disorders, food allergies, Skin complaints, and bed wetting.

Treatment

Your initial consultation will last up to 90 minutes. During this time we will discuss in detail your present symptoms, other physical symptoms, medical history, family’s medical history, your current emotional state as well as areas of imbalance and questions about your personality. All this will be taken into account when prescribing homeopathically. Further appointments will take approximately 30-45mins.

Homeopathy can have an immediate effect, however, it could also take time to unravel deeper health issues and allow time for your body to heal itself. Normally it is recommended that you have three follow up appointments to gain relief of any long standing ailments, although the length of treatment depends on the duration of the problem and the individual circumstances. Follow-up appointments should be every four-six weeks in order to assess your health and ensure that well-being is maintained.

Based on the information taken at the consultation and observations made an assessment of your health status will be made, and a prescription of homoeopathic remedies will be provided as well as lifestyle and nutritional advice. Flower essences, herbs, and supplements to restore health on all levels may also be recommended.

Fees

£25, inclusive homeopathic remedies.

(Specialised remedies such as LM’s will require a small additional charge of £3 as they need to be ordered and made up especially by the pharmacy.)

Between appointments Marika will be happy to discuss any concerns you may have relating to the remedy and to help with acute ailments.
