Allergy Testing and Treatment

Tests are available for sensitivity to foods and drinks which are regularly consumed as well as pollens, grasses, candida, food colourings and additives. You will be asked to complete a food and chemical questionnaire and to bring along small samples of foods.

The method of testing used is Applied Kinesiology which is entails muscle testing. The experience is pleasant and painless, making it suitable for everyone, including babies, children and the elderly.

Allergy testing is particularly appropriate when the following illnesses are suspected:

• candida
• IBS
• hay fever
• asthma
• eczema
• migraines
• thrush
• ME
• arthritis
• hyperactivity
• and mood swings.

From the results of the test, desensitisation treatment is given in the form of homoeopathically prepared oral remedies of the offending substances. These remedies are prepared by a homeopathic pharmacist and have natural enzymes added to them which help the desensitisation to hold. After a period of about 4 weeks, a re-test is carried out, progress is noted and further treatment given, if necessary.

The initial consultation lasts about 60 minutes and costs £35 (children £25). Follow up consultations last about 30 minutes and cost £25 (children £20).
